I know sometimes that natural hairstyles can be challenging. You have to know your hair in order to train it the way you want it to grow and look. So let’s talk about a great twistout and how to achieve that style. First, you have to find the right product for your hair. What may work for others, may not work for you but there is a 50/50 chance that it may work. Find a product that is very moisturizing. If you were starting with wet hair, I would prefer you to try a water-based product because your hair is already damp/wet. If you are starting with blown out hair, try using a buttercream that is not water-base. You do not want to re-wet your hair you take the time to dry it right? Before adding a styling product, find a great leave-in conditioner to seal in the moisture and keep your hair moisturized even while you are rocking your Fab Do’. A great product line to use is Crème of Nature. All of their products are moisturizing and it gives your hair exactly what it needs. Their products are made with Argan Oil & Argan Butter from Morocco. CON products are sulfate, mineral oil, paraben, and petrolatum free.

Now, let’s get your curls ready to experience an exotic shine like never before. In the following pictures, I used CON two NEWEST products that have been added to their line. I used the Butter-Licious CoWash. The CoWash cleanses and removes product residue from hair but what I love most about it is that it keeps your hair hydrated (leave it in for 3-5 minutes). Then rinse and add the Argan Buttermilk. The buttermilk is a leave-in that you want to add before adding your styling product to begin twists. I then twist my hair with CON Butter-Licious Curls Curl Hydrating Buttercreme. This product contains all kinds of goodies such as argan, shea & cocoa butter. On the next day, untwist each twist carefully. You can add oil if you like but you will be able to feel the oils in your hair already. Now you are left with a great twistout that you can count on every time. The best part of it all is that you can find these products at your local Family Dollar Stores, Dollar General, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, and your local Beauty Supply. This line is very affordable and you are still looking FAB on a budget. So, I leave to you another MrsHairToday, “Fab Five Hair”. Click the link below to experience the exotic shine!
